Tonight we arrived in Lubbock, checked into our hotel, and decided to try a restaurant we had never been to before. Ike’s Woodfire Grill was close by, and we’re glad we gave it a try! The atmosphere was very family-oriented, but it could also be a great spot for a nice evening out. Our group of 3 started with the cheese stick appetizer, and they were really good! We also tried the Wednesday flatbread pizza special, chicken Alfredo pasta, and a ribeye cooked medium with a twice-baked potato and sweet potato fries. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed a margarita and a Hurricane from the bar—both were really good. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the wait time. Our appetizer took about 20 minutes, and our meals took somewhere around 45 minutes to nearly an hour to arrive. It was a longer wait than we expected, but once the food arrived, everything was great. Overall, we had a really good first experience at Ike’s Woodfire Grill! Great food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. We’d definitely give it another try when we’re back in Lubbock!

For me, the service was better than the food. Not saying the food was bad by any means, however Melanie my Server and her Manager were awesome. I had the Salmon, The Potato Skins and The Bread Pudding. For me, the Potato Skins were the best. Again, hats off to Melanie and her Manager. They went over the top to ensure I had an amazing experience.

First time coming to Ike's service was amazingly wonderful. Took my brother out for his birthday and they treated him so nice got him a free dessert. I got the flat bread California a little more avocado then id like to admit but it was still delicious. He got the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was huge. He said it was delicious. The manage came by after we finished eating and gave us a complimentary free queso when he found out it was my first time there very professional and told me about their other sister restaurants which I didnt know about. Would definatly recommend to my friend group, and will be going back to try the very extensive menu

We love this restaurant! It a favorite when we are in Lubbock. Staff is always friendly with great service. Daily specials on food and bar drinks are a plus. Great atmosphere. Some of our favorite dishes are chopped steak, chicken fry, flatbreads, Baja Chicken and Roasted Chicken, twice baked potato and green beans. Usually busy but usually the wait is short.

First of all, the food had a very heavy reminisce of frozen grocery store food. One good thing is that our waitress was the best waitress we’ve had in a while. (Young with a black slicked back ponytail-didn’t catch her name) She was very sweet and honest with us. Food was very dry and overcooked. The description of the Hawaiian Pizza had me believe that there would be big slices of ham and pineapple. Instead it was just diced pineapple and ham. The chicken and waffles especially had a suspicious similarity to frozen waffles. The diced potatoes were bland and dry. It’s a bit hard to tell in the photo but my dads bacon cheeseburger was very very dry and overcooked. - notice a trend here? Would not recommend at all.
